REDSKINS BROADCAST NETWORK INTERN

Intern with the Washington Redskins for the 2009 Season!
The Washington Redskins in-house production department is looking for interns!
Get hands-on experience producing and editing web videos, assisting producers with TV shows and documentaries and much more!

REQUIREMENTS:

• need to receive college credit (no exceptions)
• basic editing skills on Final Cut Pro (REQUIRED)
• need to provide own transportation to Redskins Park (21300 Redskin Park Drive Ashburn, VA)
• basic Redskins/football knowledge preferred
• basic camera operations skills preferred
• basic knowledge of Mac operating system, Microsoft Word, Office, Excel
• looking for a student that is professional, hard working and a fast learner with good communications skills and a great attitude

INTERN DESCRIPTION:
The Redskins Broadcast Network is looking for Fall 2009 interns to assist with the following:

• Shoot, edit and upload player and coach press conferences and other web content to redskins.comTV
• Help producers with shows as needed (schedule guests, log/digitize video, write scripts, generate ideas)
• Edit and produce commercials and demos for Redskins clients (dependent on experience)
• Administrative duties: create DVD labels, track internet hits and other duties as assigned
• Game Day: Help run tapes from field to press box, upload game highlights, edit and post press conferences to the web

The Redskins Broadcast Network is responsible for the following productions:
• production of 5 television shows;

• Inside the Redskins (Saturdays 10 – 11 AM NBC);
• The Jim Zorn Show (Saturdays 7:30 PM NBC);
• Redskins Late Night (Sundays 1:30 AM – 2 PM NBC);
• Redskins Game Day (Sundays 11 – 11:30 AM FOX);
• Redskins Game Plan (Sundays 11:30 AM – 12 PM NBC);
• Redskins Nation (Daily 6 PM – 6:30 PM and 10:30 PM – 11 PM)

• production of all the web videos on redskins.comTV including the Redskins Nightly News, unfiltered videos of player and coach press conferences, game highlights, player features

• production of Redskins commercials and demos that air on the jumbotron during games at FedEx Field and for TV
