Facility Operations/Security: Game Day/Event Staff
GAME DAY EVENT STAFF SECURITY - Green Bay Packers (Green Bay, WI)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

This position is responsible for assisting in all aspects of stadium security. The work involves monitoring of fans and specific areas to ensure the safety and security of the facility and guests during events at Lambeau Field.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact with all guests at Lambeau Field.

  2. Must be available for all home Green Bay Packers games, including family night and any postseason playoff games or events.

  3. Must be able to deal with uncooperative or intoxicated persons.

  4. Strong problem-solving skills.

  5. Must be familiar with Lambeau Field game day policies and procedures.

  6. Must be flexible with position assigned, understanding that duties may change based on need and situations.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 16 years old.

  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  3. Ability to assist injured/handicapped persons in use of wheelchair.

  4. Experience operating a hand-held radio, portable fire extinguisher is preferred.

  5. Knowledge in formal first aid, CPR, or First Responder training is desirable, but not required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to work in all-weather situations, understanding most positions are located outdoors.

  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, and lift on a frequent basis.

  • Ability to climb stairs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

This position is responsible for generating new business and securing renewals for suites and club seats at Lambeau Field at the same time ensuring memorable guest experiences with each client encounter.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Attain and exceed the specified sales goals from the leasing of suites, club seats, group seating and other premium inventory at Lambeau Field.

  2. Develop a target list of top corporations, companies, and individuals.

  3. Generate sales and continue to create new leads via cold calling, appointment setting and local prospecting.

  4. Create and cultivate relationships to encourage long-term customer commitment.

  5. Ability to analyze, report and respond to numeric data to provide weekly status reports (forecasts, call reports, etc.) to the Manager of Premium Seating and Director of Ticketing and Premium Seating.

  6. Committed to internal teamwork with Premium Services, Ticketing, Facilities and Security Operations to ensure efficient quality servicing of accounts including, but not limited to suite ticket distribution, complaints, suggestions, agreement administration, etc.

  7. Involvement in game day activities, promotions, and sales for all premium seating events.

  8. Facilitate special projects as assigned.

  9. Additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.

  2. 3-5 years’ experience selling major league premium seating inventory.

  3. Strong work ethic with an innate sense of urgency, creative capacity and tenacity, team concept and attitude.

  4. Familiarity with Archtics, KORE, Word, Excel, Publisher and database related packages.

  5. Passion to succeed by excelling at sales and relationship building.

  6. Ability to write effective business correspondence and marketing collateral.

  7. Strong customer service priorities.

  8. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  9. Professional demeanor.

  10.  Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as dictated by events.

Location: Internships are offered in the Green Bay, WI and the Milwaukee, WI offices.

Reports to: Sales & Business Development Staff

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:

The Sales & Business Development Department is responsible for generating revenue for the Green Bay Packers organization through the sale of corporate sponsorships and premium seating inventory (suites & club seats). The department is also responsible for managing the relationships with corporate partners and premium seating clients. Interns will be responsible for assisting the Sales & Business Development staff in day-to-day operations of the department. This includes, but is not limited to: client / partner relations, inventory management and the planning and execution of special events.

The approximate timeframe for this internship is 7-8 months, tentatively from January 2018–August 2018. Slight flexibility with start/end dates based on school and team schedules. Official start/end date is subject to change and will be dictated by the Packers. This is a paid internship and entails 40+ hours during the work week (Monday-Friday). Interns may also be asked to work nights, holidays and weekends as needed. Attendance is required for all applicable home games, training camp and marquee events (i.e. Family Night, Draft Day, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with day-to-day Sales & Business Development administrative needs.

  2. Prepare Sales & Business Development documents for clients. Examples include: sales decks, proof of performance and activation plans.

  3. Join Sales & Business Development staff at select renewal, recap and planning meetings with clients.

  4. Assist with client hospitality at events.

  5. Assist the Partnership Services team with fulfillment of corporate partnership assets.

  6. Assist with coordinating, planning, and execution of special events (Draft Day, player appearances, client events, and the 5K Run).

  7. Assist with the coordination of various Sales & Business Development activities during training camp, including, but not limited to: client hospitality visits, signage and sponsor activations.

  8. Assist with Family Night and pre-season home games.

  9. Assist Premium Seating team with Family Night ticket sales.

  10. Assist Game Entertainment department as needed.

  11. Daily computer work, power point documents, spreadsheets, etc.

  12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. Undergraduate degree (junior status minimum) in related field.

  2. Previous work experience in sports marketing and/or sports marketing events outside of classroom work required. Example: internship / volunteer time with a sports team or athletic dept.

  3. Internship and/or part-time experience with other sports teams preferred.

  4. Above average communication skills.

  5. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  6. Must be able to handle various projects at one time while performing at a very high level.

  7. Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  1. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  2. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.

  3. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

  4. Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
