EMAIL MARKETING & FAN INSIGHTS INTERN - Green Bay Packers, Inc. (Green Bay, WI)

This position is responsible for building, testing, deploying, scheduling and analyzing email campaigns to drive engagement and sales growth. This position will also manage sweepstakes delivered over various platforms and will assist with research and data analytics projects. This position collaborates with all areas of the company. This is a paid internship and entails full-time weekdays (40+ hours).

Timeframe: MAY 2017 – MAY 2018

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, test and deploy e-mail campaigns in html and text for variety of business areas

  • Schedule email requests and maintain corporate email calendar

  • Analyze and report on email results by utilizing tracking parameters in URLs and email tracking systems to report on opens, clicks, conversions, items purchased, click source, etc.

  • Implement, analyze and report on email testing in regard to time of day, format and creative as applicable

  • Coordinate sweepstakes with multiple departments including IT, Digital and Packers Pro Shop, as well as, outside vendors

  • Monitor and report on sweepstake metrics

  • Classification of research comments

  • Aid with research initiatives through creating, deploying and analyzing internal surveys

  • Compile research reports for internal stakeholders

  • Assist with data analytics projects

  • Help with classification of social media postings and web content

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field preferred. 

  • Background in email marketing operations, platforms, technology, campaign performance metrics and deliverability issues.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding project and vendor management skills. Strong editing, proofreading, organizational, interpersonal skills required. Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for quality.

  • Ability to interact, work effectively across functional groups, work alongside and team with others is essential, as is the ability to navigate internal resources to generate results.

  • Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency, proven results orientation, initiative and an affinity for producing consistently high-quality work and yield in a manner that exceeds expectations.

  • The capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment is critical. A creative thinker with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility/adaptability and a knack for thinking on your feet will succeed in this role.

  • Experience working with Google Analytics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Exact Target is preferred.
