Summary

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring the proper and accurate processing of accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will exhibit a commitment to excellence, take initiative and excel in a team environment. This position requires a high degree of integrity and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

  • General ledger reconciliations

  • Prepare and execute daily check deposits and weekly cash deposits

  • Record accounts receivable transactions

  • Prepare weekly aging reports

  • Process invoice requests

  • Monthly sponsorship invoicing

  • Process payables invoices and check requests

  • Reconcile accounts payable statements; call for invoices when necessary

  • Process weekly check run & EFT’s

  • Manage accounts payable items received via email

  • Review and process expense reports

  • Assist with month end close process

  • Other general accounting duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Accounting experience

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Must be a self-starter and results driven

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact   effectively with a variety of team members in various departments

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel

Preferred

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills, and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of automated accounting software

  • 1-2 years accounting experience

Jaguars Fan Raffle for Charity Sales Team Member - Jacksonville Jaguars (Jacksonville, FL)

Summary:  

The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation is looking for friendly, high-energy, motivated sellers to join the Jaguars 50/50 Jackpot for Charity sales team for the 2017 season. The Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation is giving you the opportunity to become part-time, seasonal team member where you can bring your passion for raising money for the Jaguars Foundation and other Jacksonville charities to every Jaguars home game played at EverBank Field. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be passionate by interacting and connecting with fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 jackpot program.

  • Be accountable through accurate handling of the sales and distribution of raffle tickets, and turn in all cash and tickets to Coordinator at the end of the shift.

  • Be responsive and knowledgeable about the program, The Jaguars Foundation, and other charities in order to answer fan questions about the 50/50 jackpot.

  • Show your dedication to the Jaguars, The Jaguars Foundation and other charities by meeting and exceeding minimum sales goals as specified by Coordinator.

  • Hours: Approximately 7-8 hours at each Jacksonville Jaguars Home Game played at EverBank Field (Two preseason games and seven regular season home games). Your dedication is important and attendance at all 9 games is required.

  • Be excellent by showing your enthusiasm about the program with each and every fan interaction and sale.

  • Be innovative and intelligent through creative and outgoing sales techniques.

  • Sales and customer service experience

  • Self-motivated with high energy

Summary:  

The Member Experience Specialist’s main focus is to provide first-class customer service through each experience shared with our members including telephone calls, email exchanges, and in person service. . This level of customer service is delivered through timely responses to customers. The Member Relations Specialist will bring to the Jaguars proactive and reactive relationship building strategies that will contribute to the ultimate increase in Season Ticket Member loyalty, customer satisfaction and the overall retention rate. The Member Experience Specialist will develop excellent relationships with the Jaguars Season Ticket Members and deliver customized communications, events, programs and benefits to the Jaguars most important fan.

 

Job Duties              

  • Serve as the primary liaison for Jaguars customers.

  • Provide to Jaguars customers a consistent and disciplined approach to support.

  • Implement frequent touch point programs designed to increase customer loyalty.

  • Meet or exceed daily call volume goals—typically between 50 and 75 outbound calls per day.

  • Use effective problem solving skills to address any customer concerns.

  • Meet or exceed yearly renewal and sales goals.

  • Assist with developing, coordinating and implementing Season Ticket Member events.

  • Collect payments from customers.

  • Assist with gift and ticket deliveries.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.

  • Collect data and follow up with guests regarding the game day experience.

  • Accurately manage and update CRM database for Season Ticket Member accounts.

  • Act as the point of contact for Members during Jaguars games and other events; ensure resolution of any and all concerns, check-in with and visit Members in their seats, and help create a fun atmosphere for the Member and any accompanying guests.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Member Experience or any other person designated by the Jaguars.

  

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

  • 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience preferred.

  • Proven experience of using relationship-building to increase over-the-phone, written and in-person sales.

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Visual Effects (VFX) Artist/Editor - Jacksonville Jaguars (Jacksonville, FL)

Summary

This is a full-time position in the JagsCinema department for the Jacksonville Jaguars. JagsCinema is looking for a VFX Artist/Editor to add to their award winning staff. JagsCinema is the in-house production unit of the Jacksonville Jaguars, responsible for a wide variety of visual projects for game days, sponsorship, marketing, ticketing, and social media. Editing experience with an emphasis on post-production is required. All candidates must submit a recent demo reel to be considered.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with JagsCinema staff to develop assets that enhance a project’s visual design
  • Work closely with JagsCinema staff to set the style, look, and feel of graphics, animations, and VFX
  • Create content to be used in-stadium on game days, as well as, for online material and marketing projects
  • Produce dynamic and energetic videos employing the use of video effects and sound design
  • Provide graphical and VFX support for JagsCinema productions
    • Compositing, roto, keying, color correction, grading, and motion design are all key components
  • Assist with general video production when needed: green-screen, lighting, shooting, audio, etc.
  • Produce sponsored features and fan engagement pieces for in-stadium and social media use
  • Create, update and maintain player headshots, stat cards, and other video board graphics
  • Provide video production assistance for Marketing/Sales/Sponsorship requests and Jaguars Signature Events

Job Qualifications

 Required

  • A college degree in Media Production, Graphic Design, Photography, Film, etc.

  • A strong knowledge and passion for cinema and sports; specifically football and the NFL industry

  • Masterful knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

  • Proficiency with Cinema 4D, Element, or other comparable 3D rendering engine is mandatory

  • Demonstrated post-production experience in the entertainment or sports industry

  • Resourceful and able to manage multiple projects, activities and deadlines simultaneously

  • Able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience in live broadcasts
