An Associate Designer at Dallas Cowboys Merchandising assists the design and technical design team with daily responsibilities in order to increase efficiency in the design process and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the designers & technical designers with all aspects of the design process from concept to creation
  • Spec and pre-fit all samples
  • Attend all fittings: take notes for technical designer and assist with evaluations as per the technical designer’s direction
  • Work directly with Production Coordinator and supply graded specifications and garment details when needed for testing
  • Assist the designers with trend research, sketching designs, and creating boards
  • Prepare presentations for meetings

Requirements:

  • Degree in Apparel Design

  • Must have 1-3 years of apparel design or technical design experience

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

  • Must have training and experience with garment construction, design, pattern making, and textiles

  • Must be a self starter and be able to take and follow direction

  • Must be a good teammate and work well with others

  • Must be responsible, organized, and motivated

Associate Graphic Designer - Dallas Cowboys Football Club-Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (Dallas, TX)

The Associate Graphic Designer will assist in the development of market ready graphics for both domestic and import apparel for all channels of distribution.  Responsibilities include assisting in the development of multiple seasonal lines to meet consumer & retail demands while making sure that all category objectives are met, presentation boards and support materials for merchandising, art, and sales meetings and assisting in all other graphic related initiatives as directed by your department manager.


Responsibilities:


• Develop marketable graphics from concept to production.
• Layout and organize presentation boards for seasonal line development.
• Graphic support for Dallas Cowboys Merchandising, Blue Star Graphics, 81Eighty, and 289c sales presentations.
• Graphic development for ads, promotional materials, POS signage, AT&T Stadium events, and Dallas Cowboys Pro Shops.
• Research: trends in the marketplace, our competitors, techniques, sales analysis, and our customer.
• Preparing submission pages for licensing and customer approval.


Qualifications:

• Minimum of Associates degree in graphic design.  Experience in the apparel industry a plus.
• Creativity and problem solving skills a must.
• Willingness to learn and follow direction and instruction.
• Eagerness to be part of a team and the ability to work within its structure.
• Ability to work within a fast paced environment with hard and tight deadlines.
• Good organization skills.
• In depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign on a Mac OSX platform.

EDI Coordinator - Dallas Cowboys Football Club-Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (Dallas, TX)

Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (DCM) has an immediate opening for an EDI Coordinator at their Merchandising headquarters, located in Dallas, Texas. This position will be responsible for the support of Electronic Data Interchange processing between Dallas Cowboys Merchandising, its customers and suppliers.

The EDI Coordinator is responsible for technical and project management for integration and maintenance of new and existing customers, as well as ongoing EDI operations.  The individual must interact with customers and suppliers to perform these activities.  In addition to new customer activities, the individual will also support day-to-day critical EDI operations, and interact with internal Merchandising, Customer Service, Accounting, and IT staffs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Manage relationships and act as point of contact to the DCM Trading Partner network.
  • Responsible for obtaining, reviewing, mapping, implementing and maintaining Trading Partner EDI specs for major document sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 820, 832, etc).
  • Perform new partner/transaction set setups.
  • Stay abreast of trading partner initiatives and changes; develop solutions to accommodate, where appropriate, including transaction set system testing with partners to ensure successful production activation. 
  • Create/maintain auto-mailed PO notification reports from within EDI system.
  • Monitor VAN and EDI transmissions; communicate send/receive status to appropriate internal groups during customer/vendor start-ups, and for problem resolution.
  • Monitor assigned daily EDI processing reports, identifying and resolving processing exceptions. Responsible for timely handling of all issues, employing business knowledge and creativity, utilizing any and all available tools and resources.
  • Assist with customer setup structures within Microsoft DynamicsAX ERP order management system.
  • Work with and monitor Value Added Networks (VAN) systems, and other providers to perform day-to-day functions and communications.
  • Manage QRS/Inovis online UPC catalogs and Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) data pools.
  • Work with order management system vendor to resolve trading partner EDI-to-ERP integration issues.
  • Test order management system modifications, as it applies to EDI-related components and interactions.
  • Respond to, and resolve Help Center tickets as assigned.
  • Handle issues notifications to appropriate parties and escalate solutions for critical and recurring problems. Issues may include, but are not restricted to requests for clarification or information, perceived processing problems, actual processing problems, requests for system changes, vendor surveys, and procedural issues.
  • Distributes EDI Implementation Guides and supplemental information to existing and potential partners.
  • Work with Infrastructure team to perform periodic upgrades to translation platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Associates Degree or greater, with at least 3 year experience working with EDI translation systems.

  • Working knowledge of EDI standards (VICS, ANSII X12, etc.) and assigned transaction sets from both a business and technical perspective.

  • Use existing toolset to translate EDI technologies into XML, to provide other system integration opportunities.
  • Experience with TIE-Kinetix’s eVision translator and Lexicom AS2 communications packages a must.
  • Trading Post Central’s SuperMap experience a plus.
  • Conduct partner and user surveys, via mail, email, and/or phone. Follows up on responses and reports on results.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, peers, and IT staff.

  • Perl development language a plus.
  • SQL and Microsoft Dynamics experience helpful.

The Part Time Seasonal Fork Lift Operator is responsible for operating the warehouse forklift and performing various material handling duties.

Job Responsibilities:

- Move controls, levers, and devises to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas

The Product Line Manager will assist with driving and managing a category business from concept through commercialization.  You will be responsible for assisting in the development of multiple seasonal lines to meet consumer & retail demands, while making sure that all category objectives are met.  You will closely monitor and adhere to all category timelines while working along side other teammates within design, merchandising and sales departments in order to optimize sales when bringing the line to retail.  You will be responsible for assisting in all other merchandising activities and serve as the category spokesperson for all internal and external communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and validate line plans for classifications based on consumer/customer insight and marketplace capacity.

  • Assist in the execution to create assortments focused on optimizing productivity, profitability, pricing, and flow.

  • Manage the style setup process within AX

  • Analyze booking info:  sell through info, margin, etc.

  • Manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, calendar management and follow through

Qualifications:

The Sample Coordinator is responsible for administering sample submissions from vendors in order to ensure timeliness and sample compliance. This position will also maintain an organized sample filing system within the DCM design department.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor deadlines in PLM system and keep factories accountable for hitting due dates.
  • Communicate with factories daily regarding sample tracks and shipments
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments by preparing boxes, creating paperwork, as well as picking-up and delivering packages to the appropriate designers.
  • Maintain an organized sample closet and workroom
  • Manage the receipt of Salesman Samples as they enter the warehouse and record dates received inside PLM system.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Fashion Merchandising or Design
