Database Administrator - Dallas Cowboys Football Club, Ltd. (Irving, TX)

The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is seeking a candidate with mid-to-high level Microsoft SQL database administration skills to perform database creation and configuration, performance tuning, set access and security levels, writing queries, routine data maintenance, and integrity checking. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

  • Set up and install databases, including test, development, and production environments.
  • Evaluate and install service packs.
  • Monitor database “health:” availability, reliability, performance, capacity planning, clustering/failover testing.
  • Provide performance tuning:  indexing, compression, drive distribution, load balancing, replication.
  • Monitor and remediate disk space usage.
  • Setup and maintain accounts, access levels, and security.
  • Perform routine data maintenance:  re-indexing, integrity checking, database shrinking, log file monitoring.
  • Develop, document and implement standard procedures for all DBA tasks:  Perform disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Support Data Transformation Services / trouble shooting.
  • Support SQL Scheduler:  job setup, execution, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with application support and network administrators on hardware/infrastructure requirements for databases, business application software systems, SAN, and on backup and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain SQL software versions at supportable release levels.  Coordinate upgrade and service pack installation schedules.
  • Provide data model, view and table descriptive information to end users and technical analysis upon request.
  • Collaborate with Internet/Intranet teams on database and application interface/integration issues.
  • Perform after hours and weekend on-call support, as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Must meet the following minimum requirements):

  • Preferred Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA).
  • Strong SQL Query and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) skills.
  • 4 – 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL database administration in a production environment.
  • Ability to translate technical issues, requirements, limitations and parameters for management and staff and to understand business work processes and business impact.
  • Skilled in analysis, observation and interpretation of technical information.
  • Knowledge of other relational databases, data modeling, client-server, networked environments, SAN, Windows, Windows 2000+ administration, MS Office, .NET programming, report generator tools, and web technologies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication (written, oral, and interpersonal) skills.
  • Experience with the following Microsoft technologies a plus:
    • SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

    • Internet Information Services (IIS)

    • Microsoft Dynamics CRM

    • .NET

Facility Operations/Security: Grounds Crew/Turf Management
Landscape Manager - Dallas Cowboys Football Club-AT&T Stadium (Arlington, TX)

The Landscape Manager is responsible for overall maintenance of the landscape and irrigation at AT&T Stadium.  Duties include overseeing maintenance crews, maintaining the stadium grounds, managing our sports field turf conversions, as well as maintaining equipment and landscape tools. 

Candidate will be working directly on the grounds to ensure the landscape is carefully maintained.  Hours vary depending on company needs.  Candidate needs to be self-motivated, independent and a problem solver.  Work involves exposure to extreme temperatures depending on the location and has physical requirements related to operating equipment and performing manual labor on a regular basis.
 

Job Duties:

  • Manage landscaping crew personnel.
  • Schedule and maintain stadium grounds. 
  • Schedule and maintain irrigation system. 
  • Schedule and implement fertilization program. 
  • Perform inspections and preventative maintenance for insect and landscape disease control

Job Requirements:

  • Three years’ experience is preferred, as well as have their Landscape Irrigation License
  • Candidate needs to be self-motivated, independent and a problem solver
  • Must be able to work when exposured to extreme temperatures outside
  • Must be physically able to operate equipment
  • Must be able to perform manual labor on a regular basis

Facility Operations/Security: Heavy Equipment Operator
Part Time Seasonal Forklift Operator - Dallas Cowboys Football Club - Merchandising (Dallas, TX)

The Part Time Seasonal Fork Lift Operator is responsible for operating the warehouse forklift and performing various material handling duties.

Job Responsibilities:

- Move controls, levers, and devises to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas
- Organize and secure materials
- Track materials though the Warehouse according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine inspections and/or safety checks to ensure forklift is operating properly
- Return forklift to the appropriate charging station at shift end and prepare equipment for the start of the following shift
- Complete forklift operator training as required
- Complete other duties as assigned by a manager
 

Qualifications:

- Forklift Certification required
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred

Job Duties:

- Perform daily count processes through the use of an RF scanner device
- Inventory accurate and timely counts in multiple warehouse locations, with a range of products
- Assist in regular and accurate “spec” measurement of current and inbound product
- Inspect and insure quality of all products being returned (damage identification)
- Perform quality checks/audits on orders which have been processed for shipping
- Communication role with management related to damage processing, system process data entry and product management
- Familiarity with product “DIM” elements and functionality  -  (weight, dimensions, units per container)
- Perform other activities and functions as directed by the Inventory/Quality Control Manager
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally with coworkers from different departments
- Knowledge of RF systems

The Merchandise Data Coordinator position will be responsible for supporting administrative tasks within the Dallas Cowboys Merchandising Retail Division. This position requires close communication with the Buyers and also the ecommerce team. This position is part-time and is paid hourly.

Print Production Planning Assistant - Dallas Cowboys Football Club-Dallas Cowboys Merchandising (Dallas, TX)

The Planning Assistant will assist the Production Planner in preparing and planning all orders that go into production. Qualified candidates must be comfortable in a production oriented, fast paced environment that changes frequently and requires significant multi-tasking abilities.  The Planning Assistant reports to the Production Planner.

Job Duties:

  • Ensures timely creation and processing of print orders in Microsoft AX and Scale

  • Work with production managers to make sure all orders have all required information in order to be planned accordingly

  • Communicate any issues that will slow down production with the appropriate departments

  • Act as one of the contacts for the merchandising and customer service teams

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with various internal and external groups such as sales and merchandising teams.

  • Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Print Production Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS college degree or equivalent experience is required.

  • Customer service or data entry experience preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft AX and Scale desired.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment effectively

  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity

  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members when necessary

  • Able to work weekends and possible holidays

  • Able to work 7AM to 4PM and longer if necessary

The Travel Coordinator/Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating the company’s travel needs.  This position also provides key clerical and administrative support to the Procurement Director.  The Travel Coordinator/Administrative Assistant reports to the Procurement Director.

Travel Coordinator Job Duties:  75%

  • Schedules flights, car rentals, and hotel accommodations for all company travel through Sabre

  • Handles all of the company fleet vehicle documentation such as insurance, titles, registration, toll tags, and recalls on the company’s cars, trucks, trailers   
  • Assists in the maintenance of the company’s cellular device service; ordering, replacing, and upgrading etc. of the company’s cellular devices with AT&T and employees
  • Creates and coordinates required maintenance of the company’s ID security badge system
  • Performs varied clerical work

Requirements:

  • At least one years' recent Sabre and industry experience (within the last year).
  • Ability to work with high level,
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Handles incoming correspondence and maintain all outgoing correspondence
