JOB SUMMARY:  
This is an unpaid fall 2013 internship with 65 Toss Power Trap Productions, the in-house production arm of the Kansas City Chiefs, responsible for broadcast, episodic television programming, internet content, in-house company projects, spots, and the in-stadium show. The person selected will assist the department with a wide variety of audio and video projects. This intern must have audio/video production experience.
Our HD stadium and television shows, and new ventures in online video programming have taken on tremendous upgrades in philosophy and equipment, and we are eager to keep the ball rolling with young energetic, artistic talent thirsty for experience.  We give all interns real world, in-the-trenches experience, opportunities to enhance the department, and great referrals when we see them go.  Production intern will shoot video, log, archive, and edit football content and features, and assist in Arrowhead’s control room show.  This intern is a functional part of our team and must be coachable to learn proven award-winning philosophies in production.  Travel is sometimes necessary and always reimbursed.  Approximately 40 hours a week with flexible scheduling.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Produce/shoot/edit video elements to be used in-stadium, TV and/or Internet.
2. Assist in the maintenance of Arrowhead Production equipment.
3. Shoot, log, and archive football footage.
4. Projects include: Cheerleader events, local stories, football plays, web video edits and graphics, football practices and press conferences (with the NFL Network) and 10 home football games at Arrowhead Stadium.

1. Video Production Experience including Writing, Non-Linier Editing (Avid/Final Cut), Camera Operation, Lighting and Audio Set Up.
2. Knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop and/or other relevant Multimedia software preferred.
3. Knowledge QuickTime, MPEG and various audio files (mp3/.wav) preferred.
4. Demonstrate strong creative skills that can be applied to TV, In-Stadium and Internet production applications.
5. Must be a willing and able team player, ready to learn new concepts and processes, and willing to travel for shoots when necessary.
6. Must be able to shoot video. We can train. DSLR/Panasonic P2 cameras a plus.
7. Strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Summary:   Responsible for developing new corporate event business for Arrowhead Stadium and assisting in the planning and execution of the corporate events marketing plan.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Proactively identify, prospect and contact potential clients to solicit new bookings for corporate event activity at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a creative and qualified intern to assist in the design, development and production of creative projects and services.  The right individual must take great pride in their work and pay strong attention to detail.  Applicant must have strong understanding of graphic design tools and standards along with a strong sense of design style.  Must understand branding and be able to work within a strict style guide.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while keeping organized and maintaining the highest standard of design quality in all work.  Needs to be able to work as part of a team or individually.

Position Profile: Head of Safety & Event Security 

Department: Stadium Operations

Reports to: Director of Event Operations
 
Job Summary: Responsible for developing and managing life safety plans and programs for Arrowhead Stadium as well as 24/7 facility security and event day safety, security and traffic operations. 

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 1. Develop, implement, maintain and periodically update life safety management plans, incident and evacuation plans for the Club and Arrowhead Stadium.  Ensure all full time, part time and event day staff are knowledgeable of these plans and understand their roles in the execution of these plans.
2. Manage the 24/7 facility security operation for Arrowhead Stadium and The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex. 
3. Responsible for traffic planning for all events including Chiefs home games, corporate and social events and other major stadium events.  Oversees toll plaza, traffic and parking staff and coordinates multi-modal transportation planning with local agencies.
4. Consults with events department to develop and implement safety and security plans and corresponding event security staffing templates for every event at Arrowhead Stadium.
5. Works closely with Team Security Manager to ensure a seamless overall security plan and operation.
6. Administers and manages computerized incident and event reporting system (ISS).
7. Schedules event day security staff with contract security provider.

Job Summary: Accountable and responsible for aspects of payroll process and other functions within the Finance Department. Job Summary:  Responsible for all aspects of growing and maintaining all game and practice playing surfaces   for the Kansas City Chiefs Football Club in world-class condition. 

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 
1. Develop, implement, maintain and periodically update annual plans for growing natural turf at Arrowhead Stadium, The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex and the Chiefs training camp facility at Missouri Western State University.
2. Manage the set-up of the playing field for all NFL games as well as other special events at Arrowhead.  (i.e. concerts, exhibits and soccer matches)
3. Lead and direct grounds crew staff in order to maintain the playing and practice fields in optimal condition for playability, visibility and safety.
4. Maintains green spaces in and around Arrowhead Stadium and The University of Kansas Hospital Training Complex.
5. Possess and lead staff based on a solid understanding of the appropriate NFL operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services, and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
