Broadcast: Audio/Video Editing and Production
Producer - Kansas City Chiefs (Kansas City, MO)

JOB SUMMARY: The producer will serve as a visual storyteller for the Kansas City Chiefs, contributing to the team’s digital, social, broadcast and in-stadium production efforts.

 ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Produce and edit video content for Chiefs digital and social channels, TV shows, in-stadium show and preseason games.
  2. Participate in strategic discussions regarding creative executions of digital and social video content.
  3. Actively track relevant metrics for digital and social content performance and apply lessons to maximize reach and engagement.
  4. Use Adobe Creative Suite to assemble, edit, process, color correct, format, and export video projects from start to finish.
  5. Work as a camera operator to capture footage of practice, games, press conferences, in-studio player and coach interviews, feature b-roll, scenic footage, and more.
  6. Use Chiefs media asset management software (CatDV) to ingest, categorize and organize game and practice footage, interviews, feature b-roll and press conferences.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned from time-to-time by Director of Production.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1.      Light office duties and activities.

2.      Will periodically be required to lift and carry production equipment totaling 50-75 lbs.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

1.      A minimum of 3 years of assisting/coordinating or associate work in the video production field is required.

2.      Proficiency in tracking and measuring success of video content in the digital space and the ability to apply those lessons to future creative strategy.

3.      Extensive demonstrated knowledge of production equipment needed. (Expertise in post-production, field/studio/location-production, sound recording and program development and execution needed).

4.      Must be proficient using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Avid.

5.      Design acumen with Adobe After Effects / Photoshop a must.

6.      Demonstrated polished communication and learning skills. 

7.      Versatility, organization, and dependability a must. 

8.      College degree required.

Administration/General Management: Human Resources/Benefits Administration
Seasonal Human Resources Assistant - Kansas City Chiefs (Kansas City, Mo)

JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Seasonal Assistant will directly assist the Human Resources Department with a wide range of projects related to but not limited to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and administration support. This individual will also be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of various managerial projects and in the completion of all office duties as delegated by the Human Resources staff. The Human Resources Seasonal Assistant will report directly to the HR Generalist. 

 QUICK FACTS/REQUIREMENTS:

1.      Interview expenses such as travel, etc. are the responsibility of the candidate.

2.      Any relocation fees are the responsibility of the candidate.

3.      All candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S.A.

4.      This position will be paid hourly. Base $7.70/hr.  

HOURS REQUIRED:

1.      40 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

1.      Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.

3.      Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and have internet research skills.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

2.      Conduct audits of personnel files and assist with department filing to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

3.      Assist department with event preparation and planning for Mini Chief Day, holiday party, holiday baskets, etc.

4.      Respond to all staff and employment inquiries, and successfully complete employment verifications in a timely manner.

5.      Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality of sensitive information.

6.      Perform organizational and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):

1.      Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s program, or higher, with a concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline with the intent to pursue the Human Resources field.

2.      Prior experience in Human Resources or recent exposure to HR classes/seminars is preferred.

3.      Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and experience with data entry required.

4.      Must have high level of written, verbal, interpersonal, and creative skills.

5.      Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information required.

6.      Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands by establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
