JOB SUMMARY: The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a creative and qualified Graphic Design Assistant to work alongside our Creative Services Manager on all creative projects and services as a part-time employee.  Applicant must have a degree in Graphic Design or a design related field, any additional years of experience are recommended.  Must understand branding and be able to work with a strict style guide.  Applicant must be able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.  Must possess strong organization skills, attention to detail, spacing, hierarchy, and should be able to work under pressure on a multitude of tasks.  All candidates must have a substantial knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Programs, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.  Some After Effects knowledge is a plus.  Candidate must be proactive, creative and have a passion for design and sports.       

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Designing promotional material (posters, print ads, postcards, brochures).
  2. Produce web graphics, email marketing, ads, website backgrounds.
  3. Brand Management; understanding how to work within a style guide.
  4. Event support (invitations, signage, credentials, t-shirts)
  5. Assist with photo editing and manipulation of graphics for sponsor and marketing needs.
  6. Manage graphic design requests from across the Kansas City Chiefs organization from start to finish.
  7. Assist Graphic Designer as needed.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Facility Operations/Security: Event Guest Relations
Part Time Event Coordinator - Kansas City Chiefs (Kansas City, MO)

JOB SUMMARY:  The Event Coordinator is the primary point of contact for internal and external event clients and coordinates all aspects of the day-of execution of the event to ensure flawless operation of assigned events at Arrowhead Stadium.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Primary day-of contact for event clients at Arrowhead Stadium as assigned.
  2. Plan, service and supervise all types and sizes of events
  3. Meet with clients prior to events and assist in determining event needs; concerning physical set-up needs and requirements for licensed areas.
  4. Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of detailed requirements and coordinate support staffing including conversions, engineering, housekeeping, security, audio/visual, telecommunications, and event staff personnel.
  5. Prepare diagrams, instructions, set-up requirements and supporting documentation for each event and distribute to appropriate staff; communicate changes before and during events.
  6. Prepares cost estimates and ensures all costs are paid before the event takes place.
  7. Inspect facilities and leased areas to ensure they are being maintained properly for events and ensure compliance with applicable fire, building and safety codes.
  8. Assist Sales Department in preparation of written cost estimates and site tours.
  9. Interpret and apply all relevant federal, state and local regulations.
  10. Work on all game days, special events and internal events in various capacities.Responsible for managing costs, billing and collecting payments from clients.
  11. Administrative duties as assigned to include updating accounts, internal requests, events paperwork, and accounting.

Post Clean Supervisor - Kansas City Chiefs (KANSAS CITY, MO)

Job Summary:   Responsible for managing temporary labor crews to clean the parking lots and the stadium after major events at the direction of the Stadium Services Supervisor – Post Clean.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

LABOR MANAGEMENT

1.      Must be able to give clear and concise direction to a temporary labor crew of 25+ laborers.

2.      Lead the crew to complete a given task in the budgeted amount of time.

3.      Motivate laborers to be hard working.

CLEANING AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL

4.      The Kansas City Chiefs facilities must be spotless after all events so attention to detail is a major priority to make sure all areas are completely clean

OPERATIONS

5.      Be knowledgeable of work vehicles and manual transmission.

6.      Maintain an organized vehicle of product (bags, latex gloves, cups, etc.).

7.      Accurately fill out labor ticket time cards.

8.      Able to work overnight with temporary labor.

9.      Other duties as assigned.
