Sales & Marketing: Ticket Sales
Account Executive - Group Sales - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Tampa, FL)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively sell group tickets to meet or exceed set revenue goals via:

    • Seeking and implementing sales and service best practices

    • Proactively prospecting and qualifying new group clients

    • Networking at team and community events

    • Developing a personal database of new prospects and consumers

  • Develop, plan and execute new theme night events working in direct correlation with Sales Coordinator, Marketing, and Creative Design team.

  • Renew group accounts; establish and maintain strong relationships with key group contacts.

  • Coordinate and execute a minimum of 60 sales calls per day to any and all potential customers through cold calling, prospecting and referrals from current customers.

  • Meet weekly with Group Sales Manager, producing accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, outside appointment and event recaps, and account management.

  • Conduct face to face sales meetings out of office and at One Buccaneer Place.

  • Visit prospects and customers during home games and assist in fulfilling events and servicing groups.

  • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Group Sales Manager.

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

  • A minimum of one (1) year work experience in sales and/or customer service.  Proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas.

  • Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and ability to learn and master new software programs.

  • Experience with utilizing CRM and Archtics ticketing systems for maintaining customer records a plus.

  • Strength in time management, administrative ability, organization, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with prospects and customers in a professional manner.

  • Ability to travel around the stadium visiting clients during home games and able to escort and show potential customers various seating options.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

  • Consistent, punctual and regular attendance.

  • Professional image and demeanor.

  • Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.

Training Camp Assistant - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Tampa, FL)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization is seeking qualified candidates for the 2015 Training Camp Assistant positions. The Buccaneers are offering part-time, paid positions to highly motivated and committed individuals wishing to build upon their education and professional experience with practical experience in the fast-paced world of the National Football League.

The 2015 Buccaneers Training Camp Assistant program will begin in mid-July and end in mid-August. Training Camp Assistants are paid hourly in the program and work 40 business hours per week. Applicants must be able to work flexible and some unusual hours including nights and weekends according to the team schedule throughout Training Camp.

Department Training Camp Assistant Positions

Listed below are brief descriptions for each department. Please note that certain departments may provide for additional requirements.

      Events and Entertainment

  • Assist in the execution of Training Camp logistics including but not limited to camp set-up the week before camp opens and load-out when camp breaks
  • Support all needs related to fan service and experience; including player autograph sessions, giveaways and promotions, manage setup and execution of interactive engagement programs, activities, and display areas as well as elements geared toward young fans
  • Support Football Operations and Coaching Staff with charting plays, play book assembly, video drops and any other needs as they arise
  • Execute all Training Camp experiences for attendees, from setups and takedown to facilitating VIP Days, Season Pass Member Days, Military, Alumni, and Luxury Suite Holders along with other designated days
  • Coordinate and execute all accreditation, VIP guest arrivals, check-in and VIP hospitality to include area set-up/breakdown, décor, signage, placements and dining room prep as well some food and beverage needs
  •  Support Football Operations and Coaching Staff with locker room set-ups/deliveries, charting plays, play book assembly, video and video drops and drug testing support as requested
  • Coordinate and execute all event needs relating to the Stadium Night Practice occurring during Camp as well as other team functions as requested, in addition to helping with some season game day operations
  • Assist with upper management programs, initiatives, and events as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

      Team Operations

  • Assist in the execution of Training Camp logistics including but not limited to camp set-up (including at the Team Hotel) the week before camp opens and load-out when camp breaks
  • Manage round-the-clock transportation shuttle service between Team Hotel and Team Headquarters, as well as any and all other shuttle needs/errands as requested per Football Ops
  • Coordinate all airport transfers for players/scouts/special guests
  • Coordinate and execute all event needs relating to the Stadium Night Practice occurring during Camp as well as other team functions as requested, in addition to helping with some season game day operations and team travel preparations
  • Assist with upper management programs, initiatives, and events as needed
  • Collect all player credential requests for processing
  • Manage the Team Operation’s Camp office at the team hotel and support all hotel needs (including player/coach arrivals/departures and luggage transfers, load-in/load-out, beverage stations and in-room beverage service, signage, décor, player lounge, daily schedule distribution to all sleeping rooms and oversee nightly Snack set-ups)
  • All other duties as assigned

Youth Football Intern - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Tampa, FL)

Youth Football Internship

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization is seeking qualified candidates for our 2015 Youth Football Internship.  We are offering a full time, Fall internship to a highly motivated and committed individual wishing to build upon his/her college education with practical professional experience in the fast-paced, results-driven world of the National Football League.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers interns are given the unique opportunity to contribute to the organization's success while receiving an unparalleled, behind-the-scenes learning experience. Our internship program is comprised of a comprehensive and flexible strategy that allows recent graduates to build upon their educational foundation in order to define, evaluate and achieve a variety of career-related objectives.

Although interns will be placed within specific departments, they are able to explore all aspects of the business of professional football through various outreach programs, networking events, and both group and individualized learning sessions. Interns will learn from mentors and establish relationships with industry leaders that will benefit their lives both personally and professionally.

The 2015 Buccaneers Internship Program will begin in July and end after the last 2015 home football game. Interns are paid hourly in the program and work 40 business hours per week during their internship period. Interns are also expected to commit to the full term of the internship. Applicants must be able to work flexible and some unusual hours including nights and weekends for Buccaneers home games and other team-related events.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Football Development

The Youth Football Internship position is responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Manager of Football Development to develop and maintain a consistent Buccaneers Youth Football Camp program for kids ages 3-18
  • Registering campers during youth clinics that occur around the region
  • Assisting with youth football clinics on gameday in the south plaza kids zone
  • Assisting with implementation of the Buccaneers flag football league
  • Working with Group Sales to develop fundraising programs for local youth football leagues and organizations
  • Acting as a liaison and representative for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with youth initiative programs around the region
  • Working cross departmentally to create new revenue opportunities for the organization
  • Other duties as assigned         

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 1 year professional work experience, preferably with youth organizations
  • Strong organizational, time and project management skills with the ability to prioritize a workload to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Coaching or skills development experience is preferred
  • Ability to lead and influence large groups of people
  • Comfortable communicating, engaging and interacting with groups, crowds and individuals
  • Strong and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work flexible hours (including weeks, nights and holidays)
  • Knowledge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL, Raymond James Stadium, One Buccaneer Place and the Tampa Bay area
