Season Ticket Sales Manager - Cleveland Browns (Cleveland, OH)

Department: Ticket Sales

Reports To: Director, Ticket Sales and Service

Basic Function: The Season Ticket Sales Manager is responsible for the daily supervision of season ticket sales and mini plan efforts for the Cleveland Browns. This includes, and is not limited to: season ticket sales lead generation and solicitation, cold-calling potential ticket sales clients and managing the ticket sales database. Ticket Services-related responsibilities include assisting Ticket Services staff with efforts to maximize season ticket renewal percentages and the continued growth of the season ticket fan base. This position will be asked to lead the sales staff by example toward the achievement of new season ticket sales.

Job Function: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervise daily ticket sales efforts through telemarketing, referrals, networking events, outside appointments and stadium visits
  •  Monitor daily call and email activity; ensuring daily volume requirements are being met
  •  Provide daily sales reports and weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Director of Ticket Sales and Service
  •  Provide daily supervisory management of the team’s ticketing database, Archtics, to effectively monitor and organize all sales activity
  • Oversee ongoing sales training throughout the year, including the proper implementation of team sales standards as outlined by the Director of Ticket Sales and Service
  • Assist Account Executives in setting meetings with key decision makers of community and corporate groups to drive new ticket sales
  •  Establish strong, personal relationships with prospective ticket buyers and existing season ticket holder accounts to drive new sales referrals and renewals
  •  Meet all predetermined activity goals for ticket sales
  •  Identify new lead sources and manage data acquisition
  •  Supervise ticket sales tables during game day and all outside events including luncheons, business/trade shows, conventions, etc.
  • Assist the Director of Ticket Sales and Service in the planning and implementation of all sales initiatives
  •  Assist with the creative concepts for production of ticket sales material/collateral
  •  Collaborate effectively within both the Sales and Ticket Services departments to achieve common goals
  •  Assist with other ticket sales and service duties, as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sports Management or related field preferred
  •  Minimum of 3 years of ticket sales experience
  • Sales management experience within the professional sports or entertainment industries is preferred
  • The ability to handle multiple projects at one time and provide reports and summaries as directed
  •  Extensive sales prospecting-by-phone, cold-calling experience
  • Experience handling service to season ticket accounts from a supervisory role as leading by example is a must
  •  Track record of setting meetings with key decision makers of community and corporate groups
  • Proven written and presentation skills
  • Experience with the team’s account and prospect database marketing, Archtics
  •  Passion for sales, service and creativity
  • Strong work ethic and desire to build career in professional sports

Group Ticket Sales Manager - Cleveland Browns (Cleveland, OH)

Reports To: Director, Ticket Sales and Service

Basic Function: The Group Ticket Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing the sale of group tickets, packages and hospitality areas including personally selling and managing the group ticket sales efforts of Account Executives for the Cleveland Browns. This includes, and is not limited to: group sales lead generation and solicitation, cold-calling potential group sales clients and managing the group sales database. The Group Ticket Sales Manager will also manage the group sales activities and provide quality service to group clientele to maximize annual renewals.

Job Function: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Generate group ticket sales through telemarketing, referrals, networking events, outside appointments and, when  necessary, stadium visits
  •  Service and up-sell existing group ticket accounts
  •  Provide daily sales reports and weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Director of Ticket Sales and Service
  • Set meeting with key decision makers of community and corporate groups                                                                          
  • Assist Account Executives in setting meetings with key decision makers of community and corporate groups to drive new ticket sales
  • Establish strong relationships with group clientele for group outing renewals and referral leads
  • Provide quality service to all group clientele
  • Staffing of ticket sales tables during game day and all outside events including luncheons, business/trade shows, conventions, etc.
  • Assist with creative concepts for production of group ticket sales material/collateral
