Digital Engagement Coordinator - Cleveland Browns (Berea, OH)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within social, web and mobile platforms. This position will be responsible for managing the Browns social media presence and coordinating content delivery across all digital platforms to increase fan engagement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

SOCIAL MEDIA:  

  • Execute social media strategy though management of official social media accounts

  • Maintain and update a social media content calendar

CONTENT COORDINATION:

  • Coordinate written, video and photo content trafficking and distribution across all platforms
  • Monitor digital content performance using Omniture and Chartbeat
  • Responsible for real-time homepage monitoring and programming
  • Develop and communicate content calendars

OTHER:

  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing campaigns to maximize outreach, fan engagement, and campaign performance
  • Assist with digital analytics and reporting projects
  • Infographic development
  • Occasional graphic design

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four- year college degree required
  • 2+ years of experience preferred
  • Proven digital experience launching and growing social and mobile platforms
  • Knowledgeable about the latest technology and social media trends and tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness/availability to work long hours

  • Resolve any technical issues involving the website on a timely basis
  • Assist departments with updates to individual pages
  • Design and build new site pages, special sections, multimedia applications, and sponsored content for the team’s digital platforms, utilizing HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Creating and editing graphics for the team’s sites and e-mail newsletters, including sponsor advertisements, promotional banners and photos
  • Assist with form generation and monitoring

CONTENT OPTIMIZATION:

  • Embed related videos/photos into articles and pages
  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing
  • Assist with digital analytics and reporting projects
  • Create and publish photo galleries
  • Import and publish NFL.com produced content

OTHER:

  • Help implement and test new technologies
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 years of digital experience
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver, and Flash
