Summary Description:

The Account Executive, Season Ticket Sales is responsible for generating new business as it relates to Cleveland Browns ticket inventory.  It includes the selling of all PSL seating categories (inclusive of Club Seats) and non-PSL seating categories through cold-calling, face-to-face appointments and networking.


  • Prospect, establish, research and close ticket sales leads through cold-calling, appointments and networking
  • Adhere to department guidelines in relation to call volume and outside networking opportunities

Community Relations: Grant Making
Coordinator, Cleveland Browns Foundation - Cleveland Browns (Berea, OH)

Summary Description:

The Coordinator will report to the Manager and requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual able to effectively facilitate the grant administration operations, nonprofit compliance, as well as communication and logistical needs for the Foundation. This position is primarily responsible for providing logistical support and comprehensive communications for the Foundation and its efforts to improve the education and development of ALL children and youth in Northeast Ohio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage aspects of foundation’s operations including the grant administration process and policies, systems, incorporates best practices, and ensures excellent controls.
  • Ability to monitor and ensure regulatory compliance of non-profit status and operational best practices related to foundations.
  • Contribute to the foundation’s team efforts and department duties, such as preparation of materials for meetings and presentations, prepare grant and donation letters.
  • Work closely with the Manager to carry out due diligence and work with invited organizations to ensure successful completion of grant applications and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and initiate efforts to improve and maintain effectiveness and efficiency of grant administration, including development of tracking systems and grant information reports to ensure proper record keeping for internal and external reporting.


  • Support the Foundation’s overall mission and strategy.
  • Establish, maintain and review documents pertaining to civic and community partners and potential board involvement.
  • Assist in identifying initiatives and organizations to support through non-Foundation funds, facilitation and execution of support.


  • Develop Foundation-related correspondence and content for internal staff, board members, corporate and community partners, media and donors through a variety of mediums including social media, print and digital.
  • Facilitate the scheduling, monitoring, logging and analyzing of all internal and external communications.

  • Basic level of understanding and experience with regard to nonprofit and/or a grant-making foundation principles, regulations and operations.
  • Prior work experience in at least one foundation setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling multi-platformed media campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal with the ability to write clear, concise and inspiring stories.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Efficient with computer office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Work Environment:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical office environment, however, staff member will have responsibilities where the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
  • Hours may include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Overview:  The Cleveland Browns are seeking creative and qualified intern level individuals to support the Fan Experience & Special Events department.  The Fan Experience and Special Events Intern will be responsible in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, as well as set-up and coordination of special events.

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

This internship is an opportunity for the candidate to learn about the strategies, operations, planning and execution of the Cleveland Browns Fan Experience & Special Events Department.  Responsibilities as assigned to him/her include, but not limited to:

  • Special Event Coordination – assist with event pre-planning, event set-up, tear down, and coordination of event activations for all 2017 special events.
  • The set-up, daily operation, and tear down of all elements that relate to the 2017 Cleveland Browns Training Camp.  Elements include set up and break down of hospitality tents, activity zones, bleacher seating, signage and other duties as assigned. 
  • Game Day Entertainment – assist with the pre-planning ideation and execution of all game day entertainment and Dawg Pound Drive activities. Candidate will be assigned specific functions on game day by Manager of department.
  • Browns Backers – assist in the execution of all Browns Backers related tasks, which includes, but not limited to, website maintenance, events, daily communication and e-mail support.
  • Mascot Program – assist in tracking, coordinating, and fulfilling appearances and requests.
  • Fan Services – assisting fans & guests at events by providing knowledgeable information & helpful assistance.
  • Creative Thinking – brainstorm and create new ideas for the continued success of all related fan experience and special events projects.

 Essential Experience/Skills:

Ideal candidates for this position will have:

  • A professional demeanor with the ability to interact with our fans, professional athletes, executive front office and conduct themselves accordingly.

Summary Description:

The Manager, Corporate Partnership Activation, is responsible for the fulfillment, execution and overall management of many of the Team’s corporate partnerships, as well as a revenue goal tied to the retention/renewal and growth of these partnerships. The Manager will constantly work very closely with the partnership sales team throughout the new business process.   • Gain keen understanding of the partner’s business, and their goals and objectives for their partnership with the Browns, and develop compelling marketing and activation programs to maximize the partnership value for the partner and Team
  • Manage partnership communications, including regular outreach calls/meetings, recap meetings and presentations
  • Further the renewal and partner growth efforts by fulfilling all elements within partnership deals, and consistently provide partners with new marketing opportunities that will help their business and generate incremental revenue for the team
  • Further the current and new business sales efforts by actively collaborating with the activation and sales group to identify revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly-created partnership inventory (i.e., television, in-market promotions, social media, etc.)
  • Manage various projects or disciplines within the Corporate Partnerships department that will positively impact the entire team and their strategy for current and new partners.  Such disciplines could include community relations projects, social media strategies, maximizing our PR efforts, etc.
  • Represent the Team at various networking events and participate in other sales and community events, as defined by the Team
  • Build relationships with all decision makers and influencers of partnerships
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns that have a strong focus on digital, mobile and social assets utilized by the Team


  • 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional sports team sales and activation, and/or agency experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (including CRM)
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Prezi, and Photoshop preferred

Manager, Corporate Partnership Sales - Cleveland Browns (Cleveland, OH)


This position is responsible for prospecting and selling integrated marketing partnerships for the Cleveland Browns. Integrated marketing partnerships include, but are not limited to the following asset categories: in-stadium signage and activation, rights/logos, television, radio, community programs, hospitality and a major focus on social media and digital platforms. Grow Corporate Partnership Revenue by:

  • Generating new business leads via prospecting and research
  • Establishing and growing strong relationships with decision makers at prospected companies
  • Developing and presenting proposals using a consultative sales style incorporating category research, inventory knowledge and an understanding of the prospect’s marketing goals
  • Collaborating effectively with various departments within the Browns organization to shape a prospective deal (including the financial analysis of the deal)
  • Working with the Partnership Service and Activation Team on implementation and activation of finalized partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with team members on the Corporate Partnership Sales and Activation teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Provide accurate, reliable information for sales forecasts
  • Strive to ensure that all elements of partnership agreements are delivered in a first-class manner in accordance with the philosophy of the franchise and within the provisions of the contractual obligations of the organization


To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the experience and skill set in the above mentioned duties, as well as the requirements listed below:
