Sales & Marketing: Ticket Operations
Coordinator, Ticket Operations - Cleveland Browns (Berea, OH)

Summary Description of Duties:

This position assists with ticket operational elements of Cleveland Browns and FirstEnergy Stadium’s ticketing efforts. The main focus of this position is to assist in managing the ticket system and related networks in addition to directly supporting the operational elements of the Ticket Sales and Membership Services departments. This position will also assist in order processing and game day ticketing duties. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Ticket Sales, Membership Services, Archtics, Microsoft CRM, dynamic pricing, accounting, Microsoft Excel, formulas, statistics and a strong understanding and experience in Ticket Operations.

Duties:

  • Assist in maintaining the ticketing system and related networks
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the seating manifest & ticket inventory
  • Provide direct operations support to the Ticket Sales and Membership Services departments
  • Assist with the order processing efforts associated with orders for season, group, team and single game ticket sales
  • Provide support for pulling Marketing, Sales and Customer data from the ticketing system
  • Create and update detailed daily sales reports
  • Prepare daily deposits of sales receipts
  • Assist in game day ticket operations, including will call and walk-up ticket sales
  • Assist in game day ticket scanning system at gates and club lounges
  • Coordinate part-time, seasonal and game day staff
  • Assist in maintaining all controls & procedures to assure the integrity of the inventory and associated finances
  • Assist in managing all customer account maintenance
  • Operations support would be for all Cleveland Browns events as well as additional events held at FirstEnergy Stadium

Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Prior experience within service or sports industry highly desired
  • Prior database, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Excel experience is preferred
  • Archtics ticketing system experience is preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience managing part-time or seasonal staff preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by events

Sales & Marketing: Sponsorship Services/Activation
Manager, Corporate Partnership Activation - Cleveland Browns (Berea, OH)

Summary Description:

The Manager, Corporate Partnership Activation, is responsible for the fulfillment, execution and overall management of many of the Team’s corporate partnerships, as well as a revenue goal tied to the retention/renewal and growth of these partnerships. The Manager will constantly work very closely with the partnership sales team throughout the new business process. The Manager must also have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the Corporate Partnership department’s overall operations, including (but not limited to) special event planning, community programs, signage management, media management, and executing/capturing case studies and best in class examples.  This individual must be very sales minded, as this position is a combination of both marketing and sales.

Duties: 

  • Gain keen understanding of the partner’s business, and their goals and objectives for their partnership with the Browns, and develop compelling marketing and activation programs to maximize the partnership value for the partner and Team
  • Manage partnership communications, including regular outreach calls/meetings, recap meetings and presentations
  • Further the renewal and partner growth efforts by fulfilling all elements within partnership deals, and consistently provide partners with new marketing opportunities that will help their business and generate incremental revenue for the team
  • Further the current and new business sales efforts by actively collaborating with the activation and sales group to identify revenue opportunities utilizing existing and newly-created partnership inventory (i.e., television, in-market promotions, social media, etc.)
  • Manage various projects or disciplines within the Corporate Partnerships department that will positively impact the entire team and their strategy for current and new partners.  Such disciplines could include community relations projects, social media strategies, maximizing our PR efforts, etc.
  • Represent the Team at various networking events and participate in other sales and community events, as defined by the Team
  • Build relationships with all decision makers and influencers of partnerships
  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns that have a strong focus on digital, mobile and social assets utilized by the Team

Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional sports team sales and activation, and/or agency experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (including CRM)
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Prezi, and Photoshop preferred
  • Ability to think creatively and “outside of the box” as it pertains to developing marketing and activation campaigns for small, mid and large business partners
  • Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as dictated by events or requirements

Cleveland Browns Sales Hiring Symposium - Friday, July 22nd:

There are plenty of places to “get your foot in the door” with a job in professional sports. There are only a few, however, that offer the chance to kick down the door and start your career. The Cleveland Browns are inviting sales-focused professionals to join them for an entry-level ticket sales symposium and hiring event. Participants will learn fundamental sales principles from Browns sales executives and be provided the chance to showcase their abilities to hiring managers. Sales managers will be conducting on-site interviews and recruiting for the next member of the Browns Inside Sales team.

The Browns Ticket Sales Symposium will take place on Friday, July 22nd at FirstEnergy Stadium. The event will run from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm and lunch will be provided. Applications will be submitted via Teamwork Online. This is an "invite only" eventAttendees will be selected through a screening process. 

Cleveland Browns Inside Sales:

This is an exciting time for the Cleveland Browns as they continue to build one of the top business teams in professional sports. The Browns Inside Sales program provides an entry-level platform for developing skills and techniques necessary to generate revenue through the sale of Season Tickets, Group packages, Premium Club Memberships, as well as Suites and Hospitality packages.

Inside Sales Representatives work 40 hours per week and are responsible for 100 outbound calls each day. New business calls are intended to set appointments at the Browns newly renovated practice complex as well as make sales over the phone with a full menu of ticket products.

In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, Inside Sales Representatives attend one networking event each week as well as team promotional events. Game-day responsibilities include prospecting at sales tables, servicing client accounts, and other duties as assigned. The Browns are focused on building sales careers in professional sports and look to fill senior-level sales positions from the Inside Sales team.
