Partnership Activation Intern - Minnesota Vikings (Minneapolis, MN)

The Partnership Activation Intern will assist the Partnership Activation and Corporate Sales teams with planning and fulfillment of the Corporate Partnership agreements throughout the season. This internship is a full-time paid position. The hours will include regular office hours plus evenings and all home games. This position will start in June 2017 and will extend through May 2018. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist the partnership activation and sales departments with certain aspects of corporate partner accounts. Work with partnerships staff as a team to fulfill special programs/projects.

  • Assist in monitoring and tracking partner branded content on Vikings digital and social media channels.

  • Assist the Marketing Department in preparation for upcoming games (i.e. set-up sponsor promotions as well as implement on game days).

  • Assist the Events Department with sponsor involvement and other aspects of special events.

  • Help collect, organize and maintain sponsor photos.

  • Assist with the sponsor recap process by collecting data and imagery throughout the season and compiling that information into professional presentations.

  • Assist in maintaining radio and TV affidavits and track bonuses throughout the year.

  • Assist in maintaining the @VikingsPromos Twitter account.

  • Assist with Vikings Street Team, including scheduling appearances, organizing promotions and making sure appearances are promoted on Vikings.com and social media.

  • Track and process requests for charitable donations.

  • Attend and serve as a point person at a number of events and promotions including player appearances, radio show broadcasts, youth football clinics, etc. 

  • Assist in the organization, tracking and shipping of contractual merchandise for partners along with any special requests.

  • Conduct one major project from start to finish including generating an idea, presenting it internally and fully executing to completion. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related major preferred.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint applications.  Some experience with design is a plus.

  • Must have a positive attitude and be willing to take on a variety of tasks including both office work and physical labor.

  • Must exhibit strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Must be confident, self-motivated and able to inject their own ideas and creativity into projects.

Receptionist - Part-time/Temporary - Minnesota Vikings (Eden Prairie, MN)

The Minnesota Vikings are looking for a part time temporary Receptionist at our Eden Prairie headquarters.  The person in this position will greet visitors, answer phones, accept deliveries, sort mail, and perform other general administrative duties as needed.

Sales & Engagement Intern - Minnesota Vikings (Minneapolis, MN)

This position will support the Sales Analytics & Engagement team with day-to-day database responsibilities.  The Analytics Intern will learn to use databases in sales and marketing campaigns that increase revenue and analyze effectiveness of business decisions.  This is a full-time, year-long position that will require a flexible schedule including regular office hours and some evenings and weekends, as well as potential game-day responsibilities.

Special Events Intern - Minnesota Vikings (Minneapolis, MN)

The Special Events Intern will play a role in planning for the logistics of both large and small scaled events for our Season Ticket Members, Corporate Partners, and Vikings Fans.  This position will be responsible for supporting the Events Department with the event activities and ensuring each event aligns with our brand and internal objectives.   The Special Events Intern is a full-time position that will begin in June, 2017 and work through the end of our football season in January of 2018. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Help plan and execute events for our Season Ticket Members, Fans, Corporate Partners, Youth Initiatives, Women’s Initiatives and Internal Vikings events
  • Assist the Events Team in developing a logistical plan prior to each event, including planning menus, preparing invitations, maintaining registrations, securing volunteers and helping with various other tasks associated with the event
  • Assist with event-related communications as needed
  • Support the planning of pre-game hospitality
  • Work in conjunction with and communicate closely with Partnerships, Marketing and Design, Alumni and Youth Initiatives Departments
  • Assist with event logistics such as vendor load-in, volunteer check-in, signage, catering, partner activation, registration and hospitality 
  • Assist with the organization and procurement of promotional merchandise

Vikings Rewards Intern (Part-time) - Minnesota Vikings (Minneapolis, MN)

The Vikings Rewards Intern will assist the Loyalty Program Coordinator with fulfillment of rewards and manage the day to day inventory.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about fan engagement, providing excellent customer service and educating our fan base on the benefit of our loyalty program.  This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week and will require the Intern to work all home games.  *Local  candidates only.
