Summary:

The San Diego Chargers are seeking a motivated sales professional to sell season tickets, group tickets and other ticket products to local businesses, individuals and organizations by means of phone solicitation, networking and outside appointments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect new season ticket and group sales opportunities
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and annual ticket sales goals
  • Sell other special projects as requested
  • Assist the organization in other various special events, promotions, and social/civic activities on an as needed basis
  • Provide excellent customer service and be a positive representative of the San Diego Chargers Organization
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Director of Ticket Sales and Services or other senior management personnel

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years ticket sales experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Ticketmaster (Archtics) knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems

This position reports to the Senior Director of Ticket Sales and Services.

Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsor
Coordinator, Client Services - San Diego Chargers (San Diego, CA)

CLIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR

Assist in the account management and service of San Diego Chargers Marketing Partnerships. Elements include media, signage, hospitality, in-market promotions, stadium entitlements and in-game benefits. Serve on game days assisting in the execution of various partner promotions and hospitality elements

Job Description / Responsibilities
• Coordinate and service partner relationships insuring contracted expectations are exceeded.
• Assist in the completion of individual and team projects supporting the department’s sales and marketing plan.
• Develop specific client service plans for assigned corporate partner accounts.
• Create sponsorship proposals and year end summaries for corporate decision makers on the national, regional and local levels.
• Assist in the trafficking of publication, television, and radio broadcast advertisements.
• Assist corporate partnership team in generating net revenue through the creation and development of sponsorship, advertising, premium seats, hospitality and merchandising packages.
• Work with other departments to maximize cross-selling opportunities and share new ideas.
• Design unique marketing entitlements and solutions to activate partner relationships and increase client business
• Coordinate special events including game presentations, appearances, corporate outings and community outreach initiatives.
• Attend weekly meetings to review corporate partner fulfillment status, opportunities, new programs and promotions.
• Assist with game operations, event management, guest and club services for team and stadium events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in the sports industry, preferably in: client services, marketing or promotions.
• Candidates with prior sponsorship experience will be strongly considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sports management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be well organized and demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision; must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Successful candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - additional programs, especially graphics, a plus
