The Dallas Cowboys are seeking an expert candidate to serve as intern in the Information Technology department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Work with Technology staff to field basic trouble tickets and service requests

  • Assist with support of phone system, telephones and cell phones

  • Distribute new PC’s and laptops as part of annual computer refresh program

  • Plan, design and implement special projects at the direction of IT Staff

  • Assist in improving the efficiency of the Cowboys IT organization

  • Prepare documentation related to IT policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Must meet the following minimum requirements):

  • Familiarity with computers; experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications, especially Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work with people

POSITION SUMMARY
The Ticket & Fan Services Intern will learn the intricacies of an NFL Ticket Operations and Fan Services Department while strengthening their professional attributes. To participate in this internship, students must be able to receive credit from their college or university.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Ticket & Fan Services Intern will be under the close supervision of the Ticket Operations Manager of the Philadelphia Eagles.
 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work all events at Lincoln Financial Field assisting with guest relations and ticket office operations
• Assist staff within the Ticket Operations, Fan Services, and Season Ticket Member Services Departments with day-to-day operations
• Assist with incoming calls and emails to the Ticket Office and Fan Services lines and assist visitors at ticket windows
• Manage and maintain customer hard file system
• Learn and use Archtics ticketing systems for reports and account updates
• Learn and use the Philadelphia Eagles CRM database for reports and account updates
• Organizing and preparing department for season and game days
• Assist with data entry including, SBL information, customer information, and financial information
• Assist Premium Seat Ticket Manager with contracts and data processing
• Assist Special Event Ticket Manager with all non-Eagles events including event set-up, ticket sales, and ticket mailings
• Update and maintain season ticket member files
• Help organize and input incoming payments, including tracking and creating batches and financial reports
• Assist Fan Services Department with guest suggestions, questions, complaints or comments
• Assist with exclusive Season Ticket Member events

SUMMARY
The Photo Archive Intern will work with team photographers to manage the Seattle Seahawks Photography Archive and drive the updating, organizing and keywording of all photography assets.

• Build consistent keyword structure for online photo library

• Provide customer service to NFL FLAG leagues and prospects including fulfillment coordination, product and order inquiries, and player/league registration assistance

Strategic Marketing Intern-FALL 2015 - Washington Redskins (Ashburn, VA)

The Washington Redskins are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to assist the Marketing Department as an intern for Fall 2015. The intern will assist in the strategic planning, implementation and coordination of two marketing initiatives, the Redskins Women’s Club (WOW) and Redskins Kids Club fan platforms. This role will also have a strong focus on the planning and execution of fan activities on game days at FedExField.  The individual will have the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities of a National Football League Marketing Department by working as a member of the team and assisting in its day-to-day operations.

It is preferable that the intern is able to start on or around August 18, 2015.  Candidate MUST be able to work at least 25 hours a week.  Opportunity to stay on-board through Spring 2015 also available.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Aid in overall strategic planning for year-round initiatives listed above
  • Monthly event planning for WOW and Kids Club events ranging from 100-300 guests; includes working with Redskins operations, catering, vendors, team sponsors and overall event execution.  Will also be instrumental in planning 2015 season initiatives and outreach including pregame parties

The Washington Redskins are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to serve as a photography intern for the 2015 season.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Shooting photos at select Redskins practices and all home games (primarily game action photos), as well as “behind-the-scenes” opportunities around the team facility and at the stadium. All photos will need to be edited as needed through the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software or other similar programs.
  • Helping the team photographer with all photo shoot requests, including equipment needs and set up (lighting/backdrops/scenery, etc.) and assisting with all team headshots and portraits as needed.
  • Assisting with the management of team’s photo archive, including the sorting of all shots into the digital photo drive, as well as the scanning and cataloging of historical photos.
  • Working hand-in-hand with the public relations, digital media and marketing departments to fulfill any needs before, during and after games. These can include — but are not limited to — presentations, signage, activations and shots of facilities.
  • Shooting photos at special events for other departments and team events, including – but not limited to – the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation (WRCF), Women of Washington Redskins (WOW!), Redskins Salute, Redskins Kids Club and the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.
  • Working with the team’s digital media staff on all social media opportunities, including shots for platforms that include — but are not limited to — Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Google+ and Pinterest.
  • Utilizing the TeamSite content management system (CMS) to create photo galleries for all team events that will be published on Redskins.com.
  • Assisting with other duties as necessary.

  • Manage and monitor spam and commenting modules on social sites, as well as initiate fan discussion and engage with fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Conceptualize and research creative ways to improve the Redskins social media platforms and integration on Redskins.com and other team microsites
  • Assist in the dissemination of Redskins breaking news and team updates across all social channels, including SMS and mobile platforms
  • Assist with the management of sponsored tabs, contests and promotions, including providing analytic reports and archiving database records
  • Help to identify Redskins fan groups, contribute content to Redskins Rally and participate through various social media platforms
  • Manage and update various sections of the Redskins website including Health & Wellness, Schedule, Events, and other pages
  • Documenting various Redskins events through photography and film and uploading pictures, videos and blog content onto Redskins.com and other social sites.
  • Track and monitor success of online initiatives using various analytic tools to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to find areas for improvement.
  • Researching potential vendors for the Redskins to partner with for future social media engagements
  • Attend all Redskins home games at FedExField and assist as necessary
  • Assist with other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of social media platforms and how the Redskins desire to be branded in the online space
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills
  • Polite, positive, self-starter who works well with others
  • Must possess superior writing skills and editorial judgment
  • Strong knowledge of sports and football
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, video editing (iMovie), HTML and CSS is a plus

Requirements:

  • Must be able to receive college credit and have completed course work in the field of Graphic Design, Advertising or a related field
  • Must provide own means of transportation to Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia
  • Interested applicants must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-tradition settings during peak times of the year
