·   Achievement of, or in pursuit of, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from accredited four-year college or university required.

·   Prior work experience with Visual Studio.NET, .Net Programming Languages (C# or VB) & ASP.NET, and/or SQL Server (2008 or later) preferred.

 

Skills Required:

·   Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software.

·   Possess strong programming fundamentals and database fundamentals – understand database normalization, solid T-SQL skills, and retrieving and maintaining data through stored procedures.

Basic Function:

·   Troubleshoot, read, and de-bug code as well as provide critical front-line support for existing college scouting, pro personnel, salary cap, and other football system applications.

 


Job Function (duties and responsibilities):

·   Provide post-game data analysis and quality assurance.

·   Support all football system integration efforts.

·   Fully understand, review, and monitor all nightly batch and semi-regular data imports. Complete ad hoc reporting/querying.

·   Import/assign external data and images to players across all football systems.

·   Write customized SQL scripts and deliver reports to users in either Microsoft Excel or in custom .Net reporting tools. Provide desktop support to users as needed.

·   Deploy, manage and provide support for player-assigned iPads used for playbooks and video.

·   Aid Director in updating and completing a full technical review of applications and future development efforts.

·   Assist with the design, implementation and database management of future football system initiatives.

·   Code future systems enhancements.

·   Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Football Information Systems or other Football Administration staff members.

·   Position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with departmental staff and other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.

JOB SUMMARY: The internship provides an avenue to develop the individual’s skill set in a professional real-world environment while working under direct supervision of the Fan Insight and Analytics Manager. Experience will be gained in data insight and usage, email marketing and communication plans. Responsible for the coordination and execution of projects related to database communication and fan analytics. This internship will run from June 2014 through the 2014 season.    

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Assist with email marketing, database communication and campaign analytics.
• Assist in developing analytical strategy for determining campaign effectiveness including creating of test plans and experimental designs, identification of KPIs based on marking objectives and formation of detailed analysis plans and schedules in accordance with client needs for short and long term planning needs.
• Prepares comprehensive summaries of analysis results, capturing data driven insights in a compelling manner and offering recommendations to drive marketing strategy and shape current and future business processes that ultimately lead to improved ROI on marketing spend.
• Assist with the gathering, cleaning and integration of data.

  • Manage social media content and sweepstakes for various Redskins digital platforms
