Summary Description:

The Information Technology Intern is responsible for assisting the IT department with the organizations Help Desk calls, including user account management. This position will also be required to perform new PC installs, and cell phone management. This is a six month 40 hours a week position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responding to and handling the organizations Help Desk calls to completion
  • Following up on open help desk calls and verify their completion
  • Backing up and re-imaging PC’s using Ghost™
  • Unlocking user accounts and resetting passwords
  • Assisting with the support of hardware and software issues as they arise
  • Add/Change cell phones and plans for company employees
  • Printer supply management
  • Other Duties as assigned

Knowledge and Required Skills:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013
  • Technical experience supporting Microsoft Windows XP/7 and Apple OS X
  • Ability to troubleshoot printer problems
  • Basic knowledge of PC Hardware and troubleshooting hardware failures
  • Experience using the Microsoft Management Console, and Active Directory Users and Computers plug-in
  • Be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Be detail oriented and have good communication skills
  • Have good documentation skills and the ability to create documentation when needed

The Dallas Cowboys are seeking an expert candidate to serve as intern in the Information Technology department.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Work with Technology staff to field basic trouble tickets and service requests

POSITION SUMMARY
Works in conjunction with Concessions Management to oversee operation of concession outlets, supervises concessions associates and non-profit volunteers (if applicable), in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Food Safety and Operational Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises and assists in coordinating activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including enforcing work procedures and service standards

• Ensures inventory maintenance and accuracy using Quest Point of Sale (POS) software

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidates are expected to work all Packer home games, including Family Night, pre-season, and playoff games
• Hours will vary throughout the season based upon business need and the Packer home game schedule and other department needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent walking, throughout entire facility, for entire length of shift

The Jacksonville Jaguars (the “Jaguars”) are currently looking for a student to shadow the Ticketing Department as part of the Jaguars internship program. Marketing Partnerships Intern - Minnesota Vikings (Minneapolis, MN)

SUMMARY: The Marketing Partnerships Intern will assist the corporate sales and marketing staff with planning and fulfillment of the Corporate Partnership agreements throughout the season.  This position will start in August 2015 and the Intern will work 40+ hours per week during the regular football season, including regular office hours, evenings and gamedays.  This position will extend through May 2016 and the Intern will work less than 40 hours during the off-season. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist the Marketing Partnerships Department with certain aspects of corporate partner accounts. Work with partnerships staff as a team to fulfill special programs/projects.

  • Assist the Marketing Department in preparation for the upcoming season (i.e. set-up sponsor promotions as well as implement on game days).

  • Assist the Events Department with sponsor involvement and other aspects of special events (i.e. Training Camp, Taste of the Vikings, etc).

  • Help collect and maintain sponsor photo gallery and tag photos in Cumulus system.

  • Assist with the sponsor recap process by collecting data and imagery throughout the season and compiling that information into professional presentations.

  • Maintain radio and TV affidavits and track bonuses throughout the year.

  • Maintain the @VikingsPromos Twitter account.

  • Coordinate the Vikings Street Team including scheduling appearances, organizing promotions and making sure appearances are promoted on Vikings.com and social media.

  • Attend and serve as a point person at a number of events and promotions including player appearances, radio show broadcasts, youth football clinics, etc. 

  • Handle tracking and shipping all contractual merchandise for partners along with any special requests.

  • Conduct one major project from start to finish including generating an idea, presenting it internally and fully executing to completion.   

  • Assist in additional tasks for the Sales and Marketing Department as they arise.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related major preferred.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint applications.  Some experience with design is a plus.

  • Must have a positive attitude and be willing to take on a variety of tasks including both office work and physical labor.

The Video Production Intern is responsible for working as a team to create these video resources. Redskins.com Intern-Fall 2015 - Washington Redskins (Ashburn, VA)

The Washington Redskins are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to support the Digital Media department as an intern, with the primary focus on assisting Redskins.com and related digital assets.

The right individual must take great pride in their work and pay strong attention to detail. Applicant must have a strong technical knowledge of website development and understanding of website standards and digital trends. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while keeping organized and maintaining high standards in all work. Needs to be able to work as part of a team or individually.  All candidates must be eligible to receive college credits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide content to assist Redskins.com's operations, including: taking photos, uploading galleries and transcribing interviews
  • Support the team's digital media staff with day-to-day duties
  • Monitor social media accounts including those of the players and fans along with websites dedicated to the team
  • Support the execution of vision and strategy for best-in-class NFL club site
  • Attend all Washington Redskins home games and provide digital assistance as needed
  • Create new initiatives-stories, blog posts, photo galleries - - that can be used on Redskins.com
  • Research ways to improve the design, navigation and fan experience on Redskins.com and other team microsites
  • Track and monitor website analytics and help find areas for improvement
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram and Snapchat
  • Assist with other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills
  • Polite, positive, self-starter who works well with others
  • Strong knowledge of sports and football
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required

Requirements:

  • Must be able to receive college credit.  Completion in course work in the field of journalism, digital media, mass communication or a related field preferred
  • Must provide own means of transportation to Redskins Park in Ashburn, VA, and FedExField in Landover, MD
  • Interested applicants must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings during peak times

Social Media Intern - Washington Redskins (Ashburn, VA)

The right individual must take great pride in their work and pay strong attention to detail. Applicant must have a strong understanding of social media platforms and digital trends. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while keeping organized and maintaining high standards in all work. Needs to be able to work as part of a team or individually.  This is an unpaid position and the right individual must be able to earn college credits.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily content and fan engagement on various Redskins social media sites, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Vine, Pinterest, and Reddit
  • Manage and monitor spam and commenting modules on social sites, as well as initiate fan discussion and engage with fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Conceptualize and research creative ways to improve the Redskins social media platforms and integration on Redskins.com and other team microsites
  • Assist in the dissemination of Redskins breaking news and team updates across all social channels, including SMS and mobile platforms
  • Assist with the management of sponsored tabs, contests and promotions, including providing analytic reports and archiving database records
  • Help to identify Redskins fan groups, contribute content to Redskins Rally and participate through various social media platforms
  • Manage and update various sections of the Redskins website including Health & Wellness, Schedule, Events, and other pages
  • Documenting various Redskins events through photography and film and uploading pictures, videos and blog content onto Redskins.com and other social sites.
  • Track and monitor success of online initiatives using various analytic tools to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to find areas for improvement.
  • Researching potential vendors for the Redskins to partner with for future social media engagements
  • Attend all Redskins home games at FedExField and assist as necessary
  • Assist with other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of social media platforms and how the Redskins desire to be branded in the online space
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented and strong organization and project management skills
  • Polite, positive, self-starter who works well with others
  • Must possess superior writing skills and editorial judgment
  • Strong knowledge of sports and football
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) are required; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, video editing (iMovie), HTML and CSS is a plus

Requirements:

  • Must be able to receive college credit and have completed course work in the field of Graphic Design, Advertising or a related field
  • Must provide own means of transportation to Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia
  • Interested applicants must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-tradition settings during peak times of the year
