POSITION SUMMARY
Works in conjunction with Concessions Management to oversee operation of concession outlets, supervises concessions associates and non-profit volunteers (if applicable), in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Food Safety and Operational Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises and assists in coordinating activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including enforcing work procedures and service standards
• Observes, evaluates, and documents job performance of stand attendants, stand leaders, and assists with stand personnel performance
• Ensures inventory maintenance and accuracy using Quest Point of Sale (POS) software
• Assists with scheduling associates and aids in monitoring staff levels to ensure efficient operation of the department
• Adept with all equipment to ensure proper set-up and efficient and accurate operation
• Ensures all stands, portable carts, and surrounding areas remain clean, sanitized, and safe
• Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and operation with the assistance of management
• Investigates overages and shortages with stand leaders, volunteer groups, and management
• Estimates, requests, inspects, and maintains supplies and inventory
• Adheres to and enforces inventory and labor control measures
• Performs opening and closing procedures for assigned area
• Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
• Guest service orientation; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
• Knowledgeable in the operation of food service equipment, basic food preparatory technique, sanitation, and safety issues
• Strong financial acumen; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory and resolve discrepancies
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff and prepare written staff reports after each event

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Enrollment in Food & Beverage/Hospitality Management or Sports Management Program at a college/university preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in food service position required; previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferred
• Previous cash handling/cashier experience required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidates are expected to work all Packer home games, including Family Night, pre-season, and playoff games
• Hours will vary throughout the season based upon business need and the Packer home game schedule and other department needs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent walking, throughout entire facility, for entire length of shift
• Constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season

Age requirement: 18 years or older

*This position is a seasonal position with a start date varying from May through June, dependent upon the Packers season and department needs.

Business Development Intern-Fall 2015 semester - Washington Redskins (Ashburn, VA)

The Washington Redskins are seeking qualified individuals to join the Suite Sales Department as a Business Development Intern for the Fall 2015 semester. The right individual will be able to work as part of a team or individually. Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to lead generation, data entry, internet research, and client services.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities Description:

Time Requirements:

Responsibilities List May Include But Not Limited To:

  • Create prospect lead lists.
  • Research and create biographies in Washington Redskins database for potential sales leads.

  • Discover new prospects through Newspapers, Journals, Magazines, and Event Lists.
  • Help maintain and update current and prospective client database including personal and professional information.

  • Create FedExField Suite presentations for prospects.

  • Attend networking events at Redskins Park and FedExField.
  • If necessary help with the execution of Washington Redskins home games or special events hosted at FedExField.

  • Draft letters to company executives who view our website in order to follow up on their expressed interest.
  • Combine all created lead lists into the master lead list to ensure that prospects are always followed up with.
  • Help with answering the phone and taking messages while full time staff members are in meetings.
  • Students will use our Archtics program to assist with looking up client accounts for ticketing information and invoicing purposes.
  • Help with the FedEx shipping of client gifts, ticket packages, and memorabilia.
  • Assist in hosting prospect meetings at FedExField to allow individuals to visit and tour suites.
  • Help with creating mail and email merges in order to reach current clients and prospects.
