Training Camp Assistants work within the Special Events & Team Operations department for the duration of Training Camp in Tampa from late July through late August. Assistants aid in the execution of Camp logistics including but not limited to Camp set-up the week before Camp opens and load-out when Camp breaks; managing transportation shuttle service between Team Hotel and Team Headquarters as well as airport arrivals/departures; coordinating and executing Accreditation, VIP Guest Arrivals, Check-In and Hospitality; Fan Services (giveaways and promotions, parking, tickets, directional support) and coordinating daily on-field Junior Gatorade Training Camp sessions. We accept candidates from all major areas of study for internships; however, we attempt to match appropriate majors with the department offering the internship. Candidates must be current college students and must receive academic credit for the internship. Candidates must have housing available in the Tampa area and must be willing to work long and flexible hours including work weeks, Buccaneers home football games and Buccaneers events. The ticket office intern will support the ticketing department by assisting with the day-to-day operations in the areas of ticket sales, ticket operations, customer service and luxury suites service. The intern will receive practical training in these areas and will also gain experience in event planning and account maintenance. Responsibilities include servicing and communicating with all levels of ticket account holders, processing payments and requests, maintaining records and files and completing other reports and projects as assigned.
