Retail Seasonal Intern

Description:

The Baltimore Ravens Retail Department is seeking three (3) Retail Seasonal Interns for the 2017 NFL season. Retail Seasonal Interns primarily assist in the daily operation of the retail warehouse at M&T Bank Stadium.  Retail Seasonal Interns also assist in the execution of all retail event operations.  The internship is a seasonal, hourly position from May to May.  Retail Seasonal Interns typically work an average of 30 hours a week.

Retail Seasonal Interns typical duties and responsibilities include: assisting with the receiving and distribution of retail merchandise, preparing and issuing merchandise to various retail locations, delivering product during events, performing physical inventories and assisting with the setup of retail locations.  Moderate to heavy lifting may be required.

Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work independently, and demonstrate careful attention to detail.  Applicants must have: impeccable work ethics, be honest and trustworthy, be able to lift and move boxes up to 50lbs, and work outside in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold.  Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Summary:  

The Video Intern shall assist with the day to day operations in the Cleveland Browns Football Video Department with an emphasis on creating high-end highlight tapes

Requirements:

ThunderVision Internship - Denver Broncos (Denver, CO)

ThunderVision Productions and the Denver Broncos are seeking a qualified intern to work with the Creative Services team.  Candidates must be pursuing a degree, or be a recent graduate, in a Television Production, Digital Video, Journalism, Motion Graphic Design or Applied Communication program and must have an interest in Sports Television Production. This is a 9-month appointment beginning June 1st.

Requirements:            

Hands-on experience in all areas of live and edited video production is required.  Qualified candidates must have intermediate to advanced experience with Adobe Premiere Pro Edit software and the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.  ENG production experience, as well as an understanding of video assets management, is highly desirable, as is a working knowledge of other 3-D and motion graphic programs.  Interns must be available to work at 24 to 30 hours per week at Mile High for the duration of the internship.

Internship Details:      

This is a paid internship with opportunities to work as a vital member of the ThunderVision crew on game days and during other events held at the stadium.  Duties include, but are not limited to, logging, editing, graphic design and production, live gameday production and assistance during ENG and EFP shoots. Production facilities include non-linear editing, a full broadcast control room for live productions, ENG equipment and audiovisual systems.  Productions appear on in-stadium video and LED displays, broadcast channels, an internal IPTV system and DenverBroncos.com.

Job Title: Marketing and Sponsorship Intern
Department: Marketing & Sponsorship
Reports to: Director of Partnership Marketing/Director of Marketing
Timeline: June 5, 2017 – February 2, 2018

Normal work hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. However, this position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

SUMMARY: The Denver Broncos are currently seeking post-graduate Marketing and Sponsorship Interns for the 2017 season. These full-time, paid positions will provide the opportunity to gain valuable work experience within an NFL organization through hands-on involvement and project ownership. Interns must commit to the role from June 2017 through January 2018.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist marketing and sponsorship departments with all essential tasks as requested
  • Answer main phone line for marketing department and transfer calls to appropriate staff members
  • Handle all mail coming in and going out of the marketing department – postage, mail merge, packaging, etc.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INTERN–2017 IN-SEASON - Green Bay Packers, Inc. (Green Bay, WI)

The Sales & Business Development Department is responsible for generating revenue for the Green Bay Packers organization through the sale of corporate sponsorships and premium seating inventory (suites & club seats).

The department is also responsible for managing the relationships with corporate partners and premium seating clients.

Interns will be responsible for assisting the Sales & Business Development staff in day to day operations of the department. This includes, but is not limited to: client / partner relations, inventory management and the planning and execution of special events. 

Timeframe: 7-8 months: June/July, 2017 – February, 2018 *

*Approximate timeframe. Slight flexibility with start/end dates based on school and team schedules. Official start/end date is subject to change and will be dictated by the Packers.

This is a paid internship and entails 40+ hours during the work week (Monday-Friday). Interns may also be asked to work nights, holidays and weekends as needed.

Attendance is required for all applicable home games, training camp and marquee events (i.e. Family Night).

Job Responsibilities:

-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

-Undergraduate degree (junior status minimum) in related field.

-Previous work experience in sports marketing and/or sports marketing events outside

 of classroom work required. Example: internship / volunteer time with a sports

 team or athletic dept.

-Internship and/or part-time experience with other sports teams preferred.

-Above average communication skills.

-Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

-Must be able to handle various projects at one time while performing at a very high level.

Training Camp Internship - Kansas City Chiefs (Kansas City, MO)

PURPOSE: To provide hard-working, career minded candidates with an internship opportunity to experience the work environment of an NFL Training Camp.

TIME FRAME: Duration of the Chiefs 2017 Training Camp (Mid-July thru Mid-August) on the campus of Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO.

DUTIES: The following is a general list of duties pertaining to the Training Camp internship:


Customer Service/Fan Interaction – Interns serve as ambassadors of the Kansas City Chiefs at Training Camp for fans in attendance. The majority of the day is focused around the fans and the customer service/experience we deliver.
Camp Operations –Many of the elements and materials displayed at camp require setup and breakdown each day. It is the interns’ responsibility to participate in the setup and breakdown throughout the course of Training Camp.
Fan Development – Promote and solicit sign-ups for the Chiefs Kids Club.
Event Assistance – Interns will be required to assist with any event that is occurring throughout the duration of camp. May include but is not limited to being able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
Grassroots Marketing – Interns will be provided the opportunity to engage fans in and around the St. Joseph area to promote attendance at Training Camp.
Practical Experience – Interns will use the knowledge attained throughout Training Camp to assist with other Chiefs related marketing initiatives.

EXPECTATIONS: The following expectations are required of all interns:
• Perform duties as outlined by the Kansas City Chiefs and Missouri Western University Faculty.
• Exhibit a professional image regarding all interactions with fans and fellow Chiefs associates.

Communications Training Camp Intern - Washington Redskins (Richmond, V)

The Washington Redskins Communications Department offers public relations internships for the duration of training camp. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities of a National Football League communications staff while working as a member of the department and assisting in its day-to-day functions. 

            Interns must be able to work extended hours including some nights and weekends.  A background in public/media relations or sport management is strongly encouraged.  Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills. 

 

Internship Responsibilities:

The Washington Redskins Marketing Department is seeking a Business Development Intern to assist with sponsor research and sales strategy development during the Spring 2017 semester. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week and also may be asked to work extended hours during Washington Redskins special events.
