FOOTBALL TECHNOLOGY ASSISTANT - Green Bay Packers, Inc. (Green Bay, WI)

Job Description: Assists with various duties related to technology and video needs of football operations.  These duties are accomplished through knowledge of computer and tablet hardware and software, networking, programming languages, video equipment, editing methods and camera techniques.

Job Responsibilities:                          

  1. Assist with configuring, updating, monitoring and maintaining optimal function and security of networked hardware and software components.

  2. Develop innovative and automated technical solutions for various project and operational needs through various hardware and software means or programming languages.

  3. Record football video content using high-definition, professional video cameras.

  4. Edit, organize and distribute various forms of football video across the video network to clients with detailed statistical metadata attached to each play.

  5. Use professional editing software for production of creative videos and graphics for presentations.

  6. Perform game day technical responsibilities as assigned.

  7. Maintain availability during on- and off-hours for immediate, in-person or phone support and remote troubleshooting for end users.


  1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.

  2. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  3. Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.

  4. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  5. High level of proficiency monitoring for and quickly troubleshooting various technical issues across many platforms in a 24x7 production environment.

  6. Preferred Technical Experience:

    1. Troubleshooting Windows, iOS, Microsoft Office Suite.

    2. Programming with VBA and SQL

    3. Operating a video camera and editing with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or Avid Media Composer.

Football Operations: Team Administration/Operations
Coordinator, Heads Up Football - USA Football (Indianapolis, IN)

Summary: The Coordinator, Heads Up Football is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Heads Up Football Player Safety Clinics, NFL Mom’s Clinics, private clinics and special request safety clinics. The Coordinator, Heads Up Football will work with the Senior Coordinator, Events in the design, preparation, coordination and operations of all assigned clinics.  Responsibilities include public relations, possible public speaking, task force meetings, volunteer management, information management and financial management.  Other duties include conference calls, coordination of volunteer and staff assignments, event registration, event credentialing, reporting and P&L management of the clinic program.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Heads Up Football? clinics as assigned including procuring venues, managing materials and handling any other logistics needs that arise
  • Assist in maintaining a database of high quality Master Trainers and Assistant Master Trainers and assign them to clinics and USA Football programming as requested
  • Develop new opportunities to use the network of trainers to train coaches and players on a better, safer game
  • Attend USA Football Player Safety Coach Clinics to identify areas of improvement
  • Conduct large scale Player Safety Coach clinics and other events that support the growth of Heads Up Football?
  • Provide support to the USA Football Education and Training team in their efforts to develop training resources
  • Partner with various departments to include national teams, marketing, digital, football development, membership and sponsorship
  • Resolve problems before, during and after events or clinics
  • Regularly attend events, may be responsible for staffing booths and exhibits at events for extended periods of time.  Extensive evening and weekend hours are expected.
  • Work with the Senior Coordinator, Events to develop and meet assigned metrics and measures for each event
  • Track, manage and update impact and history, provide reports and figures for various use by USA Football
  • Work with the events team to follow best practices that continually improve the quality of USA Football events and clinics
  • Other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.

Work Experience:

  • At least two years of progressive sporting experience - Football experience is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Manage different types of personalities
  • Well organized and attentive to details 
  • Team member and goal oriented


  • Full-time, exempt position located in USA Football’s Indianapolis office.
