Heads Up Football Coordinator - USA Football (Indianapolis, IN)

Summary: The Heads Up Football Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of two of USA Football's most visible programs, Heads Up Football and FUNdamentals. He or she will help facilitate the education of thousands of youth football coaches, impacting hundreds of thousands youth football players.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule Player Safety Coach clinics and manage related logistics including facility rentals, catering orders, clincian travel, and electronic registration pages
• Coordinate the assembly and distribution of training and post-clinic materials
• Assist the Heads Up Football Manager with planning and executing Master Trainer workshops
• Maintain a calendar of Heads Up Football events that includes Master Trainer workshops and Player Safety Coach Clinics
• Coordinate logistics for USA Football and the NFL Foundation’s grant recipients’ FUNdamentals clinics
• Maintain database of all FUNdamentals licensees and provide superior customer service to licensees 
• Identify areas of improvement for both programs through customer surveys and other methods, contributing to long-term program development
• As necessary provide event services support to other key USA Football events and initiatives and identify areas of improvement through customer surveys

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. 
Experience: At least two years working in athlete and/or coach development or education programs is required (experience with a national sports organization such as a NGB is preferred). Experience managing athlete and/or coach clinics or similar programs is a significant plus. Experience with project management or CRM tools (such as Salesforce, online registration systems/databases and Smartsheet) are a plus.
Skills: Proven project management and database experience is required. Excellent written and communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be a self-starter, a great teammate and one who takes ownership of their responsibilities within a team environment.
