National Team Service & Experience Coordinator - USA Football (Cranbury, NJ)

Summary: The National Team Service & Experience Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing USA Football’s National Team customer service and experience plan. The customer service and experience coordinator will serve as the day-to-day person in charge of ensuring that more than 5,000 U.S. National Team athletes, parents and coaches have a positive experience (pre-event, onsite, post event) with the U.S. National Team program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure National Team players, parents and coaches receive a first class experience from the pre event communications to post event follow up
• Create and execute a year round communication and interaction plan
• Achieve key performance metrics including customer retention rate and customer engagement rate
• Ensure registration systems are in place to capture data
• Manage date in CRM system
• Communicate with more than 5,000 athletes and parents to ensure receipt of program information
• Manage content and distribution of U.S. National Team newsletter
• Create and distribute event confirmation packets
• Participate in customer support at events
• Lead U.S. National Team social media initiatives
• Maintain U.S. National Team athlete and coach databases
• Coordinate National Team alumni engagement programs
• Lead on-site registration and assist in the day-to-day operations of designated National Team events

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience: At least two years of progressive customer service experience. Football experience is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) are necessary. In-person customer relations, customer-focused content creation, and email management skills are required. List management, including CRM, proficiency is a plus.

Football Operations: Coach
Manager, Coaching Education Programs - USA Football (Indianapolis, IN)

Summary: USA Football is seeking an experienced and highly motivated manager to oversee the growth and development of its coach education program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of USA Football’s long-term Coach Education Program strategy
  • Consult with top coach education experts, member coaches and USA Football’s expert committees to ensure our courses and clinics are assembled with the right content
  • Ensure courses are built in conjunction with standards set by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE)
  • Oversee the build out of course curriculums including how they intersect with key programs and player safety initiative including Heads Up Football
  • Work with the USA Football digital team to ensure our Learning Management System offers the right features to maximize content retention
  • Maintain database of approved teaching drills and fundamentals to be taught by coaches

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. 
Experience: At least five years working in education program development and management is required (experience with a national sports organization such as a NGB is a plus). Football coaching experience is preferred - but not required - however, a working knowledge of the game and its fundamentals is necessary.   

Skills: Must be skilled at developing coaching education content and working with Learning Management Systems.  Proven project management experience is required. Excellent written and communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be a self-starter, a great teammate and one who takes ownership of their responsibilities.

Heads Up Football Senior Coordinator - USA Football (Indianapolis, IN)

Summary: The Heads Up Football Senior Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of two of USA Football's most visible programs, Heads Up Football and FUNdamentals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inventory levels and the assembly an distribution of all training materials that support the Heads Up Football Player Safety Coach, Tackling and Blocking clinics 
• Oversee the growth and development of the Heads Up Football Player Safety Coach clinics and manage related logistics including facilities, necessary travel, and other logistics
• Maintain up to date calendar of Heads Up Football events that includes Master Trainer workshops and Player Safety Coach Clinics and any Tackling and Blocking clinics
• Coordinate USA Football’s annual NFL Player FUNdamentals clinics and ensure that all materials are shipped on time and identify areas of improvement through customer surveys
• Maintain database of all FUNdamentals licensees and provide superior customer service to licensees 
• As necessary provide event services support to other key USA Football events and initiatives 
 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. 
Experience: At least two years working in athlete and/or coach development or education programs is required (experience with a national sports organization such as a NGB is preferred). Experience managing athlete and/or coach clinics or similar programs is a significant plus. 

Skills: Proven project management and database experience is required. Excellent written and communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be a self-starter, a great teammate and one who takes ownership of their responsibilities.
